What is a Color Correction Service? We qualify a color service as Color Correction in these scenarios: -Hair color is lightened or darkened more than 2 levels. -Three or more color processing steps are required for end result.
-
Why do you require a consultation prior to scheduling my color corrective service? When a major change is desired we prefer a consultation appointment is made prior to scheduling a service. The best way to develop a plan and pricing is to see your hair in person. During this 15 minute appointment we will also discuss alternate options for you and possibly test strand your hair to get a better idea of achievable results. We can also decide what level of stylist is the best fit for your process.
-
How do you charge for color correction? We charge by the hour for color correction. We schedule a base time of 2.5 hours then charge in 15 minute increments. During your consultation we wil give you our best estimate of time to achieve your goal. It is important to note that hair can sometimes provide unecpected results causing adjustments to the service time or plan. Color Corrective services are considered "all inclusive" meaning the price includes all steps and treatments throughout the service.
-
Why is Fantasy Color in the same category as Color Correction? To achieve fantasy color hair typically has to be pre-lightened considerably before we apply the end result tone. It typically takes multiple lightening processes to achieve and requires treatments to maintain the hair's health. For this reason the service is similar to color correction.
-
How do you determine the type of correction I will need?We consider color correction to be "hair surgery" and during your consultation will categorize your process as either mild, medium or major to achieve your goal color. This is an easy way for us to communicate how much work/time/appointments are required for your hair.
-
Why do you require a deposit for color correction? We require a 50% deposit paid at the time of booking to reserve your color correction appointmemt. We are scheduling out a considerable amount of time for this type of service and last minute cancellations result in a loss of income to our stylists. The deposit ensures you are committed to the process. Deposits are non-refundable under 48 hours to the appointment. Deposits are 100% refundable 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
-
Will I achieve my goal hair color in one appointment? It depends on the health of your hair and how many steps are involved in your process. Our intention is to maintain the integrity of your hair through every step of your color correction service. Thereforee it may require multiple appointments to achieve your goal and keep your hair healthy.
-
Once I achieve my goal what can I do to maintain it?Follow the advice of your stylist. The proper hair care products are a must to maintain your color and the health of your hair. Follow up services may be required to maintain the tone of your color.

What is "Sombre"?"A cousin to the ombre, "sombre" is a brighter and lighter verson of ombre on all levels. Highlights frame the face and feather off the root for a softer, more seamless blend from dark to light. Sombre blends together higher up the hair strand starting with subtle, soft highlights that blend into the darker base, and gradually melt into lighter ends.
-
What is "Ombre"?"Ombre has quickly become an extremely popular hair trend, and it looks like it is here to stay! Ombre is when a darker shade at the base seamlessly transitions to a lighter color at the ends of the hair. This transition usually begins about halfway throught the hair and has little to no highlight at the root. The desired goal is a natural look and low maintenance, and can be either very bold or very subtle. This look can be achieved through balayage or with foils, and price varies from $75-$150
-
What are "babylights"?"The concept of babylighting is the creation of super fine highlights that disappear into the hair resulting in soft, multi-dimensional color. Not every quests loves the rooty look achieved with balayage, and babylights are perfect for those who prefer subtle, sun-kissed highlights that melt naturally into the base, much like the natural highlights you had as a kid. This look is typically achieved using many tiny section foils, though this does take longerand ranges from $120-$200
-
What will color melting do for my hair?Color melting is a technique used to transition, or "melt". one shade of color into another. For optimum color melting, your stylist will generally select three colors in the same color family which will overlap each other to create a perfectly blended look, making it difficult to tell where the colors begin or end going from dark to light or light to dark. Pricing varies from $90-$150 depending on the amount of colors desired amd the amount of hair you have.
-
From Ombre to Sombre, baby lights to balayage, how do I know what's right for me?"The first question when changing your look is "What do I want my hair to look like?" During your complimentary color consultation, talk to your colorist, bring pictures of looks you like, and discuss your hair color history. Knowing what you've had done to your hair in the past and asking about maintenance will help you and your service provider find the technique and look that will be best for you and your hair.
-
What will foiling do for my hair?Foiling is a very traditional way to achieve highlights and dimension in your hair. Small sections of hair are placed in a foil to seperate it from the remaining hair. There are many options with foils, from the most subtle highlights to big, boild panels. You can add a little or a lot depending on the effect you are trying to achieve. Price typically varies from $75 to $150. See your colorist for a consultation to determine if foils are the right option for you.
-
What will a Balayage do for my hair? The term "balayage" refers to a french hair color technique that means "to sweep". It is a freehand painting technique that can be used to create many different results. It can add dimension to darker shades of hair, used for blonding or highlighting, or even create looks like the ever popular Ombre. Balayage is the latest way to create dimension in the hair similar to foils or highlighting while allowing the stylist maximum freedom to place highlights wherever they are needed. The benefits of Balayage include beautiful, dimensional color without any harsh lines or "grow-out". This is a very advance technique and a specialty to many of our stylists. The cost of a Balayage service typically ranges from $100 to $200 depending on the length and density of your hair as well as the desired effect. A balayage can be time consuming, and may take anywhere from 1-4 hours.

Whats the difference between Classic Lashes and Volume Lashes?CLASSIC Lashes - A method where 1 lash extension is glued to 1 natural lash. This method is also known as 1 to 1. Classic lashes are perect for clients who already have a lot of lashes, but want to add more length. Classic lashes look more natural. VOLUME Lashes - (3D) lashes - Multiple lashes are applied to one single natural eyelash individually isolating one natural eyelash at a time using very thin lashes. This method is also know as Russian volume. Volume lashes are lighter, fluffier and give the client a fuller look. Volume lashes are perfect for clients who don't have a lot of lashes, have sparse lashes, bald spots or just want a more dramatic look.
-
How do I maintain my lash extensions?1. Keep your lashes clean Cleaning your extensions daily with our oil free lash shampoo is critical to the longevity of your lashes between appointments. Ask your lash artist for more information on all of our home care lash products we offer in salon! 2. Stay AWAY from any products that contain oil Lotions, makeup remover, makeups and cleanser that are oil-based are a big "no no" for your extensions. The oil breaks down the bonds in your lash extensions causing retention issues. 3. Wear NO mascara (or very little) The beauty of lash extensions is having dark, long full lashes without using mascara. We understand some of you may want to use mascara and thats okay. AS LONG as you are only using mascara made for lash extensions. Yes we offer this and extension safe eye liner in salon as well. 4. Avoid Over exposure to moisture You should avoid water and activities that cause you to sweat for atleast 24 hours after your lash appointment. Excessive moisture isn't good for your lashes, although swimming and washing your face is fine as long as you are drying and brushing your lashes afterwards. 5. Maintain Lash Fills Regularly We recommend coming in every 2 weeks for your fills. Going longer then 2 weeks takes more time and in turn cost more. Lash extensions do require matience so please take this into consideration before booking a full set.
-
Can you be allergic to eyelash extentions?Individual gas molecules of cyanoacrylate leave the adhesive and can cause red puffy eyes and make the sclera (the white part of your eye) red and itchy. ... Please let your Lash Artist know if you have a reaction, sensitive eyes or allergies prior to starting your service.
-

-

Be sure to read the label because most lotions contain that yucky paraben! To moisturize, maintain and extend your spray tan, we recommend using our Sunless Color Extender ProLong Moisturizer.
-
